Humans are trying to identify the best
cure for hair loss from last many centuries. In the last century, scientists

as prostaglandin or D2 (PGD2) that make hair follicles to stop producing new
hairs. George Cotsarelis is the head of dermatology department and the
University of Pennsylvania told that this enzyme plays a major role in hair
fall. There are many medicines that are already in market to cure the baldness
that is caused by this enzyme. He performed an experiment on seventeen bald
patients that were suffering from baldness. He found that in bald areas those
men, level of PGD2 is three times higher. He also claim that within two years,
a solution or ointment will be there in market that will not only help in
preventing hair loss, but also in hair re growth.
Another coming soon treatment is not
expensive like surgeries and other medicines. A report published in The Wall
Street Journal claims that Vitamin D is the best hair loss treatment for the
bald patients. The Vitamin D receptors have the ability to cure the hair fall
problems and they can also help in effectively re growing new hairs. In the
University of San Francisco, it was discovered that a molecule known as MED is
responsible for hair fall in some humans and Vitamin D helps in blocking this
molecule. It is also found out that the American men having hair fall problems
are most of the time suffering from Vitamin D deficiency.
Dutasteride is a drug that also claimed to
give a new cure for baldness within several years. Different experiments are
being conducted on patients to check the effectiveness of this drug. It is also
claimed that this medicine will be helpful in curing baldness that is occurred
due to male pattern baldness or androgenic alopecia. This medicine is marketed
by GlaxoSmithKline to treat hair fall problems. It has not got approval to
treat baldness from the Food and Drug Association the United States.
Hair multiplication or hair cloning is
also under research by many medical and hair experts in laboratories. In few
years, a treatment will be introduced in hair restoration clinics that help in
getting the natural dense hairs without harvesting from donor site. Capsaicin
and isoflavone can also give a new cure for baldness if use in a combination. In
an experiment conducted on mice, scientists got that such mice which are given
the combination of this treatment have shown a rapid hairs re growth. Caffeine
